Jerry Delbert Abeyta

On 8 May 1968, Private First Class Jerry Delbert Abeyta was serving with C Company, 4thd Battalion, 21st Infantry, 196th Infantry Brigade, Americal Division, in Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, PFC Abeyta died from wounds sustained from an explosive device. His body was recovered.

Abeyta received a posthumous promotion to Corporal.
