Michael Bertha was born on 1 May 1964 in Bronxville, NY, the loving son of Michael G. and Dorothy J. Sabanosh Bertha of Yorktown Heights, NY.
He was a 1982 graduate of Yorktown High School and a 1986 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He then served his country in the U. S. Army as a 1st Lieutenant for four years.
Bertha was employed by the 7-Eleven Corporation for 8 years, the past 5 years of which he served as the Market Manager for Southern New Jersey. With his strong foundation in 7-Eleven Operations, he also partnered with the Asset Protection Organization throughout his tenure as a Market Manager.
Prior to that, he worked for Exxon Mobil as a territory manager as well as construction, maintenance, environmental engineering and sales/operations for 14 years.
Michael was a former director of football for the Marsh Creek Eagles. He also coached for LYA and was a former board member as well as a member of the baseball committee.
