Archibald Willingham Butt

Archibald Willingham Butt was born on 26 September 1864.

He died in the sinking of the "RMS Titanic" on 14-15 April 1912. He was a Major in the U.S. Army, and had served as an Aide to Presidents Theodore Roosevelt and William H. Taft.

Death

Archibald Willingham Butt died at sea on 15 April 1912. His body was lost at sea. A cenotaph for him is located at Arlington National Cemetery.
