Private Seaborn was a member of Company L, 3rd Battalion, 279th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Division. On 20 February 1953, he was riding in a truck near Hayao-Dong, Korea, when it overturned killing him.

Seaborn was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
