Private Hayslett was a member of the 62nd Engineer Topographic Company, U.S. Army. He died of other causes on 4 November 1950 at Pusan, South Korea. Hayslett was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal. |
