Airman Second Class Dawson was a member of the 336th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron, 4th Fighter-Interceptor Group. He died of other causes on 1 January 1951 near Kimpo Airfield (K-14). Dawson was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal. |
