Biography:

Private Morgan was a Browning Automatic Rifleman with the 2nd Platoon, Company B, 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on 24 July 1950 and returned to duty on 23 August 1950. He was Killed in Action while supporting an assault on a hill in South Korea on 6 February 1951.

For his leadership and valor, Private Morgan was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
