Corporal Peugeot was a member of Company A, 101st Signal Battalion, U.S. Army. He died of other causes on 8 July 1951 near Chipyany-ni, South Korea.

Peugeot was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Korean War Service Medal.
