Private First Class Neddo was a member of Company L, 3rd Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, serving in Germany. He received a serious injury on 13 August 1951 and was evacuated to the 15th Evacuation Hospital in Nuremburg, Germany, where he died on 20 August 1951.

Neddo was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal (Europe).
