Biography:

Corporal Faulkner was a member Headquarters Company, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. On 5 January 1952, he was driving a truck loaded with gasoline drums near Uijonbu, South Korea. The truck went over an embankment causing the drums to crush the cab.

Faulkner was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
