Biography:

Master Sergeant Morrison was a veteran of World War II. In Korea, he was a member of the 19th Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on 11 August 1950 and returned to duty on 23 August 1950. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy near Seoul, South Korea, on 1 January 1951.

Morrison was awarded the Purple Heart with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, the Combat Infantryman's Badge with Star, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation, the Republic of Korea War Service Medal, the Asia-Pacific Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
