|
Lieutenant Moore was a veteran of World War II. During the Korean War, he was a member of Flight W, 851st Fighter Squadron, U.S. Naval Reserve, Niagara Falls Naval Air Station, New York. On 9 April 1953, he was the pilot of a F-47 Thunderbolt Fighter, when it crashed near Houghton, New York. Moore was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. |
