|
Cadet Kirchofer was an U.S. Air Force sergeant, at the Advanced Jet Training School at Craig Air Force Base near Selma, Alabama. In 21 August 1953, he was killed when two jet aircrafts collided over Craig Air Force Base, two weeks before commissioning and graduation. Aviation Cadet Kirchofer was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. |
