Biography:

Private First Class Jordan was a member of the 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded in action by the enemy during "Operation Ripper" near Uijongbu, South Korea, on 1 April 1951 and died the following day.

Jordan was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
