Lance Corporal Lewis Chasenah, U.S. Marine Corps, served with A Battery, 1st Battalion, 11th Marines, 1st Marine Division in the Vietnam War.

He was awarded the Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal with Combat Valor Device for heroic achievement in connection with operations against the enemy in the Republic of Vietnam from 28 December 1968 to 15 January 1970.
