Private First Class Beall was a member of Headquarters Company, 19th Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division. He suffered encephalitis and was taken to the 8054 Evacuation Hospital where he died on 21 September 1950.

Beall was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Republic of Korean War Service Medal.
