|
Major Imschweiler was a veteran of World War II. During the Korean War, he was a stationed at Otis Air Force Base, Falmouth, Massachusetts. On 7 August 1951, he was the pilot on a jet training flight from Otis Air Force Base to Griffiss Air Force Base, New York, when his aircraft ran out of fuel and crashed near Forestport, New York. Imschweiler was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. |
