Private Ferazzoli was a member of Company B, 802nd Engineer Aviation Construction Battalion. On 9 September 1951 near Suwon Airfield (K-13), South Korea, he ran down a road to direct a 4-ton dump truck, slipped and fell under the trucks tires.

Ferazzoli was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
