|
Master Sergeant Fahy was a veteran of World War II, serving overseas as a Major. With the reduction of forces, he remained in the Army as a Master Sergeant and was assigned to Fort Meade, Maryland. While on leave on 28 December 1952, he died from carbon monoxide poisoning in Rochester, New York. Fahy was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Area of Operations Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. |
