|
Captain Cook was a veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific. During the Korean War, he was a Flight Instructor at Cherry Point, North Carolina. On 30 September 1952, he was landing his F7F Tigercat night fighter when it crashed killing him. Cook was awarded the Pacific Theater Service Medal, the World War II Victory Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. |
