|
Sergeant Caulfield had served in Korea and upon his return, he was stationed at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot at Parris Island, South Carolina. On 10 July 1951, he was killed in an automobile accident near the Depot. Caulfield was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal. |
