Private Baldock was a member of the 64th Medium Tank Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division. He died of other causes on 4 August 1953.

Baldock was awarded the Purple Heart, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Korean War Service Medal.
