Private Jackson was a member of the 60th Engineer Depot Company, U.S. Army. On 27 May 1952, he was driving a tractor in Pusan, South Korea when it overturned killing him. Jackson was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Korean War Service Medal. |
