Private Lowe served was a member of the 55th Engineer Treadway Bridge Company, U.S. Army. On 24 May 1951, he was drowned while swimming in the Han River a Toju, South Korea. Lowe was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Korean War Service Medal. |
