Corporal Fulk was a member of Company K, 3rd Battalion, 5th Infantry Regimental Combat Team. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy near DT 251-417, North Korea on 3 August 1952. He was presumed dead on 18 February 1954. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
Fulk was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Prisoner of War Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
