Private First Class Peoples was a member of Company C, 822nd Engineer Aviation Construction Battalion. On 22 March 1951 on UN Highway ER-1, 10 miles south of Uisan, Korea, he was killed in an automobile accident. Peoples was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Korean War Service Medal. |
