Private First Class Rosalez was a member of Headquarters and Service Company, 809th Engineer Aviation Construction Battalion. On 14 November 1952, he was operating a Barber-Green ditching machine about 3 miles east of Kunsan Air Base (K-8) and was helping another soldier lift a power line. He was severely shocked and fell 20 feet to his death.

Private First Class Rosalez was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
