|
First Lieutenant Denner was a member of Company C, 116th Engineer Combat Battalion, U.S. Army. On 15 August 1952, his vehicle went over the side of a mountain near Pia-ri, North Korea. Denner was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal. |
