Private First Class Reasonover was a member of the 56th Composite Service Company, U.S. Army in Korea. He died of other causes on 28 February 1951 at the 8055th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital.

Reasonover was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Korean War Service Medal.
