Biography:

Private First Class Patton was a member of Company E, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy near Chorwon Area Hill 355, North Korea on 23 November 1951.

Patton was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
