Biography:

Master Sergeant Jones was a veteran of World War II. In Korea, he was a member of Headquarters Company, 328th Ordinance Battalion, U.S. Army. He suffered heart failure from alcoholism, being severely emotionally disturbed over his wife's medical condition. He was evacuated to the 1st Platoon, 629th Medical Clearing Company where he died on 23 January 1953.

Jones was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean War Service Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
