|
Major Knudtson was a member of the 64th Bomber Squadron at Hunter Air Force Base, Tucson, Arizona. On 6 November 1952, he was the commander of a B-50 bomber on a training flight from Hunter to an air base at Upper Heyford, England. The aircraft crashed at Dunmow, England and exploded. Knudtson was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. |
