Private First Class Robison was a member of Company H, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division. He was seriously wounded while attacking "Yoke Ridge" just west of Hill 924 and above the "Punch Bowl" to create the new "Hays Line" in North Korea. He died of those wounds on 25 September 1951.
Robison was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Action Ribbon, the Presidential Unit Citation, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
