Charles Raymond LoPresto
Charles Raymond LoPresto was born on 30 July 1918 in Walsenburg, CO. He was the first child of Frank and Marie Medsker LoPresto. Military Service Charles was a WWII veteran. He served in the U. S. Navy on the USS Comfort and was aboard that ship when it was struck by a Japanese Kamikaze pilot. Post-Military Life He was the beloved husband of Eleanor Jane Guy and a wonderful and caring father and grandfather. He lived a life full of love and generosity for all of God's creatures. Fearless, strong, funny, and sensitive, he touched all who were fortunate enough to know him. Charles Raymond LoPresto died on 4 July 1991. He was cremated and his ashes were scattered over his favorite fishing site on the Taylor River at Gunnison, CO. |
