Biography:

Private First Class Kueny was a member of the 1st Platoon, Company C, 1st Battalion, 1st Marines, 1st Marine Division. While participating in an attack of a Chinese road block at Funchilin Pass (Hill 1081), near Koto-ri, North Korea, on 29 November 1950, he was Killed by enemy artillery fire.

Kueny was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Action Ribbon, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
