Private Price was a member of the Battery D, 933rd Anti-Aircraft Artillery (Automatic Weapons) Battalion, U.S. Army. He died of other causes on 22 April 1953 near Inchon, South Korea.

Price was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Korean War Service Medal.
