|
Captain Miller was a pilot of a AD-2 Skyraider fighter the Marine Attack Squadron 121, Marine Air Group 12, 1st Marine Air Wing. On 7 May 1952, his engine caught fire and he ditched the plane. Miller was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Action Ribbon, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal. |
