Private First Class Madrilejo was a medic with the Clearing Company, 3rd Medical Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division. On 3 June 1952, he was killed by a lightning strike near Tonggyu-ri, North Korea.

Madrilejo was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Korean War Service Medal.
