Willard Lawrence Daniels

Willard Lawrence Daniels was born on 22 December 1931 in Illinois. He was the son of Eugene Hiland and Ethel May (Tieman) Daniels.

Military Service

Daniels was an Airman First Class in the U.S. Air Force serving with the 325th Bomb Squadron, 92nd Bomb Wing, Strategic Air Command. While serving as a crew member of a B-36 Bomber based at Fairchild AFB, Spokane , WA, the plane crashed, killing all on board.

Death and Burial

Airman First Class Willard Lawrence Daniels was killed on 29 March 1954 in the crash of a B-36 Bomber in the state of Washington. He is buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Minong, Washburn County, WI.

He was survived by his parents' two sisters, Alberta Daniels Withrow and Faith Daniels Yeager; and a brother, Eugene H. Daniels Jr.
