Corporal Biselis was a veteran of World War II. In Korea, he was a member of the 17th Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on 1 November 1950.

Biselis was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation , the Republic of Korea War Service Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
