|
First Lieutenant Pratt was the pilot in a F-82 Twin Mustang night fighter with the 68th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, 6160th Air Base Wing. On 7 December 1950, while on a night weather reconnaissance mission, his aircraft crashed 18 miles from Kimpo Air Base (K-14). Pratt was awarded the Purple Heart, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal. |
