First Lieutenant Selig was a member of Headquarters Service Group, Far East Command. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in Korea on 30 June 1950. Selig was awarded the Purple Heart, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal. |
