|
Corporal Rettmann was a member of Company B, 519th Military Police Battalion. On 15 April 1951, he was killed by an accidental land mine explosion near Taegu, South Korea. Rettmann was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Korean War Service Medal. |
