Private First Class Armada was a member of the 11th Evacuation Hospital. On 8 January 1952, he was killed in a truck accident 5 miles south of Chun-Chon, South Korea. Armada was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
