Max L. Caperton was born on 20 February 1932 in Missouri.

Military Service

Max L. Caperton was a light weapons infantryman serving with the 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, in Korea. On 16 August 1950, he was wounded in action while fighting the enemy in South Korea. He died of those wounds later that day.
