Biography:

Stephan Frennier enlisted in the U.S. Army as an 11H Anti-Armor Infantryman from Fort Ord, CA, on 8 October 1980. He has served as an Anti-Armor Infantryman Gunner and Squad Leader in the 1st Battalion 26th Infantry at Goeppingen Germany; Section Sergeant in 3rd Battalion 7th Infantry at Fort Benning, GA; Army Recruiter in the Dallas Recruiting Battalion at Tyler, TX; 11M Infantry Platoon Sergeant and Support Platoon Sergeant in 1st Battalion 30th Infantry at Erlangen Germany; Mechanized Platoon trainer on the Cobra Team, Operations Group at Fort Irwin, CA; First Sergeant D Co 1st Battalion 22nd Infantry and HHC 1st Brigade, 4th Infantry Division at Fort Hood, TX; Battalion Operations Sergeant 2nd Battalion 9th Infantry at Camp Casey Korea; First Sergeant A Co 2nd Battalion 7th Cavalry at Fort Hood; Brigade Operations Sergeant Major of 3rd Brigade 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood; Battalion Command Sergeant Major 1st Battalion 5th Cavalry at Fort Hood and Baghdad, Iraq; and Brigade Command Sergeant Major 4th Brigade Combat Team 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Bliss, TX, and Mosul, Iraq.

In 2008 he was selected as the 16th Command Sergeant Major of the U.S. Army Recruiting Command and, prior to arriving at ARCENT, he served as the Command Sergeant Major for the U.S. Forces-Iraq DCG (Advising and Training) in Baghdad, Iraq.

His current assignment is as Command Sergeant Major of Third Army, U.S. Army Central (USARCENT), Coalition Forces Land Component Command (CFLCC).

Frennier's military education includes the Primary, Basic, and Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Courses, Recruiter Course, Recruiting Station Commander Course, First Sergeant Course, Army Force Management Course, the Sergeant's Major Course, the Command Sergeant Major Course, and the Keystone Command Senior Enlisted Leaders Course.

Command Sergeant Major graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2011 from Amridge University earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Communication.
