John Samuels Myers

John Samuels Myers was born on 8 November 1948, the son of Samuel George and Ellen Marsico Myers.

On 10 July 1970, Sergeant John Samuels Myers was serving with C Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Division, in Cambodia.

On that day, SGT Myers was killed in action when he sustained wounds from small arms fire. His body was recovered.

He received a posthumous promotion to Staff Sergeant.
