David Alfred Moran

Specialist Four, U.S. Army

David Alfred Moran was born on 2 November 1951.

On 12 February 1971, Specialist Four David Alfred Moran was serving with 2nd Platoon, A Company, 4th Battalion, 3rd Infantry, 11th Infantry Brigade, AMERICAL Division, in Quang Tri Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, SP4 Moran (also known to 2nd platoon as 'Jungle Jane') was killed in action near Khe Sahn when he sustained wounds from small arms fire. His body was recovered.
