Leslie Ismael Morales-Lucas was born on 17 June 1939 in Puerto Rico.

On 27 June 1966, Sergeant Leslie Ismael Morales-Lucas was serving with C Company, 4th Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, in Tay Ninh Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, SGT Morales-Lucas sustained multiple fragmentation wounds from an explosive device. He died of his wounds on 2 July 1966.
