Charles Ray Moore

Charles Ray Moore was born on 21 January 1946.

On 6 September 1969, Specialist Four Charles Ray Moore was serving with A Battery, 1st Battalion, 30th Artillery, 1st Cavalry Division, in Tay Ninh Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, SP4 Moore was killed in action when he sustained wounds from artillery, rocket or mortar fire. His body was recovered. He received a posthumous promotion to Sergeant.
